Randwick Parishes, as part of the Archdiocese of Sydney, are wholly committed to ensuring the safety, well being and dignity of all children, and acknowledges their important legal, moral and spiritual responsibility to create a safe and nurturing environment for those children.
Parish Safeguarding Support Officer
Our volunteer Parish Safeguarding Support Officer (PSSO) is Rufina Silveira, who will support the Parish Priest in providing staff, volunteers and parishioners within the parish community a greater understanding of what safeguarding means and how it can be implemented within the parish.
It is not the role of a PSSO to be dealing with any complaints; all complaints need to be referred to either the Parish Priest or the Safeguarding Office.
